The organization first selects the working areas, conducts base line surveys and identify the targeted beneficiaries. After identification, TGSS conduct awareness raising Program to motivate and educate the targeted people on the goal and objectives of the organization and activities. Awareness raising program is a very important and ongoing activity of the organization, which supports for all the programs and also group formation. TGSS has been made aware approximately 10,000 people in its working areas. Different donors and well-wishers support this program. A good number of awareness raising sessions have been conducted by TGSS among the targeted populations on its pre-defined issues.

We know, disabled people are also the same human being in our society as us. The organization believed that proper attention and care make them human resource. As such the organization provides necessary support to them. The organization undertakes motivation among the community people so that they support them.  Besides this, education material, medical supports are also given to them. The staff members have been working on disability development with the support of TGSS.  We supported 50 disable children and people for the last few years.

TGSS has especial program on environment development. So, it has been implementing nursery development, homestead plantation, community plantation, awareness raising, reducing chemical use, fertiliser use, developing composts, regenerative agriculture, reducing plastic use etc. activities with the support of TGSS own and others.  So far it has planted 7,000 saplings and developed 02 nurseries. It has also developed 50 compost heaps by 50 group members and they were provided training on compost heap preparation and natural chemical preparation and use in their fields.

A significant portion of our pollution, is illiterate. To make the population human resources education is a must. Bangladesh is trying to alleviate the course of illiteracy and the combined campaign of NGO and Go against illiteracy is seems to reaching its ultimate aim. So, education is the most vital component of TGSS development interventions. It makes aware the people and makes literate. In these respects, it runs children education and adult education activities. In view of the point, the adult and basic  literacy programme was launched by us. The Staffs of TGSS conduct literacy course during weekly group meeting and through Non-Formal education centers.  We implementing Education program with our own support. 

Health and Hygiene is a on going program of the organization, which was started since inception.  and all the field are covered with this program, through weekly group meetings all the community people and the group members are made aware on health and hygiene. Beside this the organization arrange primary health care including maternal health, National Immunization Program at its working areas.  Sale of medicine is one of the major component of this program. This program is supported by Department of Health & Family Welfare, GoB and with own assistance.

TGSS has been supporting skill development training for sustainable socio economic development. The organisation arranges occupational skills development training for the destitute women and the adolescent girls from 2003 and so far 380 destitute women and 140 adolescent girls have been provided skills development training courses on Tailoring and Embroidery. Most of them have been involved in tailoring and embroidery activities.  

TGSS has been implemented folk media program on different issues, subjects to strengthening the program and awareness raising with the support of different donors. It has developed 1 cultural group and one stage drama group. In this regard, it has development many issue based, problems based and human rights based scripts, which are displayed through folksong, popular theatres and stage dramas at school, bazaars & other social instates.

TGSS has been implementing agriculture development program in operational areas with the technical support of Department of Agriculture Extension and own finance. We developed  150 contact farmers with modern training for developing cultivation crops & vegetables.

Our organization provided fish cultivation skill training to 75 poor women and men.  Out of them 30 members have collected loan from other persons and organizations for fish culture. Some of them are cultivating  fish collectively in ponds for income generation.

TGSS  conduct awareness raising program on energy saving at local areas so that proper utilization would be ensured. TGSS provide solar energy materials at village  level for their sufficient utilization.   

The organization arranges occupational skills development training for the destitute women and the adolescent girls and destitute women and 120 adolescent girls have been provided skills development training courses on Embroidery, Bamboo & cane, Naksikatha, Tailoring etc.
